SOAHAC-Chippewa Providing Expanded COVID-19 Testing
Effective April 23, 2020, the Southwest Ontario Aboriginal Health Access Centre (SOAHAC) will offer COVID-19 screening and testing to community members of Delaware Nation at Moraviantown, Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, Munsee-Delaware Nation, and Oneida Nation of the Thames. You do not need to be a client of SOAHAC to access the community screening and testing at SOAHAC.
All screening will be done over the phone and testing will be completed at SOAHAC by appointment only. If you think you have COVID-19:
- Call SOAHAC-Chippewa at 519-289-0352 (8:30am to 4:30pm)
- Screening is done on the telephone with a health care provider at SOAHAC
- Based on the screening, you will receive an appointment for testing date and time
- All testing is completed at SOAHAC, 77 Anishinaabeg Drive, Muncey
We will provide the information you need and help you determine the next steps for your care. This testing site is meant to support community members directly so you don’t have to visit an emergency department, urgent care, or doctor’s office.
